What is a fanlisting? (taken from thefanlistings.org)

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans.

First things first. Tachibana is straight and Ono is a 'gay of devil charm' (as he calls himself), but even so you can't really help but love how they interact as friends, coworkers and... well, it's complicated.

Tachibana and Ono first met in high school where they studied in the same class. At the time Ono was starting to figure out that he liked men and after an accidental bump in the hall Ono fell in love with Tachibana at first sight. He kept his feelings secret until graduation day when he musters the courage to confess, and Tachibana rejects him horribly. This event actually changes Ono's perspective on relationships and becomes very promiscuous. Ono admits later on that he was afraid of getting rejected like that again so he avoids falling in love, but in doing so has broken tons of hearts himself.

Yet the truth is a little deeper than that. Even after the high school incident. Tachibana and Ono manage to create and maintain a friendship and work partnership. After some events in the manga it is revealed that teh reason that Tachibana rejected Ono so badly back then was because he developed an aversion to men after he was abducted as a child and Tachibana himself admits that he never wanted to say those words to him.

In the Antique Bakery Doujinshis an incident happens between Ono and Tachibana after Ono gets attacked by an ex and he goes to Tachibana for help. Ono gets confused by Tachibana's acts of concern towards him and jumps him, begging him to not be rejected again, but of course Tachibana freaks because of his phobia. In the end Tachibana manages to kick some sense into Ono and reminds him that they can never be lovers, but since they will never be lovers that they will never break up. Ono admits the truth from those words, but some time later after Ono has fallen in love with Chikage he realizes that he's still in love with Tachibana as well, that he never stopped loving him.
